MOCÈ’s Contribution to The Handling of Covid-19 as a Fashion Brand

Covid-19 cases in Indonesia have started to climb since the first quarter of 2020. With the increase in Covid-19 cases, from March 2020 to January 2021, around 5 million people have been confirmed positive for COVID-19 in Indonesia. The increasing number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia has finally caused many new problems. One of the problems experienced in the first quarter of the spread of this virus was the “Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Crisis”.

Aware of this problem, MOCÈ as a brand feels that it has to take part to help ease the burden on our front-liners in Indonesia. Finally, on March 27th, 2020 MOCÈ initiate the #SaveTheSaviours movement. The leading purpose of this movement is to help Covid-19 front-liners in the medical field related to the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) crisis. #SaveTheSaviours is a donation movement where we as a brand open the opportunity to donate directly through our team, by buying hazmat suits which will later be distributed straight to medical personnel at the hospital.

Luckily with your enthusiasm, this movement can go well. Once again, MOCÈ is very grateful for your contributions, so that we can both succeed in the #SaveTheSaviours movement, and together we can help ease the burden on the Covid-19 fighters. These are some documentation related to the process of distributing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) assistance in #SaveTheSaviours movement:

In the future, we hope that this crisis will not happen again and always pray that the Covid-19 pandemic will end soon. May we all always be taken care of and given health so that we can always move comfortably. Stay safe girls!
